ROSE: Bernard, what are you doing?
BERNARD: Rose, I've been a bachelor for 56 years, and then I met you. And we just fell into this rhythm like we had known each other forever. I always dreamed of finding somebody like you, but I'd given up hope that I ever would.
ROSE: Bernard.
BERNARD: I know, I know. It's crazy. We just met 5 months ago. But 5 months is long enough because I knew after 5 minutes. [he opens an ring box] Rose, I love you. Will you marry me?
ROSE: Bernard, I'm dying. I'm sick, and I'm dying.
BERNARD: [to the violinists] Would you excuse us for a minute, please? [he sits down again]
ROSE: I've been in remission for the last couple of years. But now it's back and this time it's not going away. My doctor says I have about a year -- maybe a little longer.
BERNARD: [after a moment] You haven't answered my question.
ROSE: Are you sure?
BERNARD: Oh, I'm sure.
ROSE: Yes. Yes.

2 - Retired
5.16 - The incident

ROSE: Oh, hell no. Bernard! They found us.
BERNARD: Son of a bitch.

SAWYER: Well, we spent all sorts of time looking for ya. I had Jin out searching the Island grid by grid.
ROSE: Yeah, we know.
SAWYER: You know?
ROSE: Oh, sure, you guys all joined up with the DHARMA Initiative.
SAWYER: Well, damn, I could've brought both y'all in. Why didn't you find a way to tell us you were out here?
BERNARD: Because we're retired.

I never minded Kate/Sawyer... until Sawyer/Juliet came along. I just love them way too much. xD

But yes, the drama gets annoying. And now with Juliet having set off that bomb and all it's just frustrating me a lot. *sigh* I want her back.
(OMFG that reunion scene always makes me cry... unless I try to stop it xD)

Juliet death was just one of the worse in the whole show. The only "good" part of it was when Sawyer threaten to kill jack if she dies (and I admit at this very moment I wished she died) but then he doesn't so... Well that's all for nothing. (Spoiler for s6 premiere)

Sweet how you covered the text up, I have no idea how to do that. xD

I really quite loved Jack back in the earlier Seasons... and some part of me still does, but like Sawyer I'm blaming him for Juliet's death...sooooooo basically I cheered for James to actually go for it.
